Brother Bob
Brad was six; he wanted to be a twin. BUT, Brad was an only
child. So, he imagined a brother, Bob. Brad talked to Bob and told him how much
he wished he could see him. Then one day, Brad stepped in front of a full-length
mirror and…found Bob!
Ohhhhh, very nice!
ReplyDeleteHa! Thank you! It is definitely hard to tell a whole story in 50 words.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely hard, Murphyrhymer (wish I knew your name)...but you really got me thinking with this one...many kids do want a sibling. I was a bit confused...in the last line you say 'Bob stepped in front of the mirror and met Bob'...did you mean to write Brad stepped in front of the mirror and found Bob? Just wondering. ;) So glad you played along with your #50PreciousWords.
ReplyDeleteYes! Oops. I did mean Brad stepped in front of the mirror and saw Bob. Sorry for the confusion. And when I read your post the first time I misunderstood what you were saying. Then, I reread my entry and saw I mixed up the names.
DeleteThanks for the heads up!

ReplyDeleteI used to love talking to my "friend" in the mirror. (does that make me weird or just a writer?) Thanks for the cool story.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping that is something a child could do. It makes sense to me. Ha ha. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteFun idea. Animals do, why not kids?
ReplyDeleteExactly! Thanks for stopping by!
